Repping ("we", "us") is an interval-training and workout app. This policy explains what we do and don't collect. The short version: Repping keeps your data on your device wherever possible, never uploads your camera footage, and has no accounts, ads, or trackers.
Your routines, workout history, and settings are stored locally on your phone. We do not receive or store this data on our servers, and it is removed if you delete the app.
If you use form feedback, your camera is used to analyze your movement entirely on your device. Video is processed on-device and is never uploaded to us or anyone else. If you choose "Save to Photos," the clip is saved to your own photo library only.
When you use the optional AI Coach, Repping sends numeric exercise metrics (such as movement scores, tempo, rep counts, and exercise names), any workout prompt you type, and an anonymous identifier to our server, which forwards them to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate coaching text. No video, name, email, or account information is sent. These metrics are processed to produce your response and are not used to build a profile of you.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status, identified by an anonymous app user ID. We never see or store your payment card or Apple ID.
If you enable Apple Health sync, Repping writes your completed workouts to Apple Health. Repping is write-only — it never reads any of your Health data.
If you enable reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device. We do not run a server that sends you push notifications.
We rely on a small number of providers to run the app: Apple (App Store, HealthKit), RevenueCat (subscription management), OpenAI (AI Coach processing), and Vercel (server hosting). Each processes only the limited data described above.
On-device data stays until you delete it or the app. AI Coach metrics are processed transiently to generate a response and are not retained by us as a personal profile.
Repping is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
